During my stay, I was delighted by the warm hospitality and the historical charm of the building. The breakfast was a culinary treat, featuring a variety of local dishes and fresh fruits that truly enhanced my mornings.

However, I did notice that the outdated plumbing in the bathroom could use some improvements, and the lack of soundproofing meant that evening noises from the square were quite noticeable, which might affect light sleepers.

The beautiful decoration throughout the pousada really captured the vibrant essence of Salvador, and the assistance from the staff, especially Alessandro, was invaluable for navigating local attractions.

The shower had very low water pressure, making it less enjoyable, and the soundproofing in the room could use improvement as I could hear noises from both the street and nearby activity.

The Pousada Solar dos Deuses offered a fantastic experience in Salvador. The location in the heart of Pelourinho made exploring the area incredibly convenient. I loved the historical charm of the building, especially the beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh fruits and local dishes provided a delicious start to each day. The staff were exceptional. they were eager to assist and made every opportunity to be helpful, which truly enhanced my stay. However, the bathroom could use some updates. the plumbing felt outdated. Additionally, late-night noise from the square could be disruptive, but if you enjoy the local vibe, it might not bother you as much. No elevator in this historical building might be a concern for some, especially with luggage. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salvador.
